I work professionally as a Digital Health researcher. I study health-related systems, software, artifacts, products and industrial process by employing the knowledge and techniques from human-centred computing, human-computer interaction and engineering psychology.
I have worked as an academician and industrial researcher. My research interests focus on: a) Electronic Medical Records: their usability, data-driven explainability, and interoperability b) Consumer Health Informatics: aiming to know how digital healthcare technologies should be designed and accord to consumers' needs in hospital and home-based settings, and b) Digital Mental Health Support Systems: by means of Bayesian computational modelling. My doctorate was on digital health with a project on cognitive modelling of emotional agency for telecounselling. In my Master degree, I have specialised in philosophy of cognitive sciences and artificial intelligence; I have worked on a pragmatic information modelling of synthesised emotions for intelligent agents.
